The silhouette of the building can be seen from afar on the A10 highway. On one side rises a residential tower with a finish of mineral strips with a brick appearance, on the other side an office tower with beautiful sculptural bay windows made of biocomposite. The 35-meter-high 'plinth' that connects them will have a park with large trees on the roof. It is indicative of the sustainability ambitions of the project. The Pulse must obtain a Breeam outstanding certificate and a WELL platinum certification.

'The latter means that we create a place here where it is pleasant to live. This is reflected in every aspect of the building," says Marc Vriens of Vorm. 'The city park is step one, but it also involves building materials without toxic substances, certified clean air from the ventilation system and healthy food in the future restaurant.'
